- Share the innovative and collaborative ways that groups across Canada are working to ensure that students, who only a few weeks ago were eating healthy meals at school, continue to have access to safe and healthy food.
Toronto District School Board
TDSB has identified a number of schools (listed below), whose families will be contacted and invited to register for these food cards for local grocery stores. This list is for Phase 1 – as more funds are secured, additional schools will be added to the list. Each family from these schools are eligible for a $50 card per TDSB child. Once families have registered online, grocery cards will be mailed directly to the address they provide. Staff are also working to provide the cards to stores closest to the family’s address. Complete here the registration online. We recognize that completing the registration form may be challenging for some, and, for those without internet, impossible.
