With the cooperation of the City Of Toronto departments, SDFA and Parks Forestry and Rec, Flemingdon Health Centre  have secured Food Boxes from Food Share. Please note that Clients from the Flemingdon Food Bank  and the TCHC buildings will be arriving on appointments to receive their Food Boxes.

Food Hamper Delivery:

The City of Toronto is working with the Canadian Red Cross to provide food hamper delivery to seniors and others in need who are unable to leave their homes. The Red Cross will be accepting calls at 1-833-204-9952 for those who require this service.

Toronto District School Board

TDSB has identified a number of schools (listed below), whose families will be contacted and invited to register for these food cards for local grocery stores.

​This list is for Phase 1 – as more funds are secured, additional schools wil
l be added to the list. Each family from these schools are eligible for a ​$50 card per TDSB child. Once families have registered online, grocery cards will be mailed directly to the address they provide. Staff are also working to provide the cards to stores closest to the family’s address.
